    Primary Responsibilities

    The Traffic Specialist will support execution of the inbound purchasing process by managing PO confirmation, manage integrity of purchasing master data and special projects as assigned. Additionally, this individual will work with the warehouse, transportation, and Supply Chain teams to resolve discrepancies and expedite purchases to meet availability targets.     Essential Functions

    • Deal directly with supply planners, transportation, and vendor/brokers to facilitate the timely flow of inventory into the KeHE network.
    • Maintain supplier address files and work with Vendor Support to identify and correct master data elements (pricing, pack size, etc.) that delay PO acceptance/confirmation/delivery.
    • Purchase Order acknowledgment and confirmation with suppliers.
    • Support resolution of PO receipt and pricing discrepancies.
    • Research and resolve inaccuracies with JDE/E3/NTS data elements.
    • Support PO expediting process.
    • Provide weekly/monthly reporting to supply planning team members.
    • Assist Transportation Leadership with special projects.
    • Due to the volatility of KeHE’s business, prioritization and time management will be key to filling this role.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Two years of related experience in purchasing support or Transportation.
    • Ability and willingness to work flexible and extended hours as needed.
    • Working knowledge of and literacy with computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
    • E3 and/or NTS systems knowledge is strongly preferred.
